Information Collection
We collect personal information necessary for matchmaking, including your name, religious practice, education, and occupation. Identity verification files are kept in access-controlled private storage and are available only to the account owner and authorized moderation staff.
Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Niyyah account and associated profile data from Settings in the mobile application. Deletion removes your profile, interests, conversations, reports, sessions, and private uploaded verification files, subject only to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or safety obligations.
If you cannot access your account, submit a deletion request through our support form. We will verify account ownership before processing the request.
Data Sharing
For privacy-based profiles, contact details are unlocked only after you explicitly accept an interest request. If you deliberately choose a public profile, the profile fields and contact details identified during setup can be visible to other eligible members. You can change this choice from profile privacy settings.

Photo Security
Users can choose to blur their photos for the general public, only revealing them to authenticated users or specifically accepted interests.
